SQUIRREL

Today neither Mum or I were in work (I had an appointment first thing, wonderful!) so we went on one of our random jaunts over to Clevedon.

Outfit for the day...





Our first stop was a row of boutique style shops where we often shop for gifts. It's especially fabulous for quirky jewellery like my "dance..." bangle, though mission today was un-successful.

On the way back to the car we cut through a park. Quiet, unassuming, then...SQUIRRELS. So many of the things. Such cuties, I tried to get more photos but damn, they move fast!





We stopped on a bench to watch them for a bit.





It was a lovely day, rare sunshine! We also went in to the centre of the town and had lunch at a favourite cafe of ours that does amazing poached egg on toast (any poached egg is amazing to me, so long as I haven't made it!) and had a wander around the shops.

Last stop on the way home was Waitrose where we bought some massively reduced Christmas goodies...30 cards for 85p and Christmas marshmallows for 25p anyone?!

I'm at work tomorrow and Friday, I'm sure there will come a time when I resent it but right now even getting up early doesn't phase me as I'm up by 6 most days regardless!
