I know I don't live in California or Australia but I really love this look it does stick out like a sore thumb where I live but hey who wants to walk around in PJ bottoms and back combed hair the uniform in my town. I have been buying up loads of Levis 501 from ebay to cut into shorts such a cool idea on a budget and Levis 501 do make the best cut offs.

I was told the other day that I have a face for hats which is good thing as I seem to be living in them at the moment and they are also soooo not practical as it has been mega windy lately and it is a task to keep them on my head. I love playing around with textures I do the same when I merchandise the rails at work it really adds depth and interest to an outfit.

The Topshop boots arrived but sadly they were uncomfortable and as I wanted them for work and I am on my feet at least eight hours a day I decided with a very heavy heart to take them back.

I totally forgot about this leather look dress I won it on ebay last year. It is so hard to wear a leather look dress without looking a little tarty. I decided to play with it and teamed it with a leopard print jacket I thought it would be too much but with black tights and contrasting heels it worked.

Oh btw this is my spare bedroom that I am also in the middle of decorating once this is finished I can move the furniture from the other spare room which will be my dressing room and then I will be finished thought the exposed plaster and distressed look of the room would make a good backdrop????

I really want the Jeffrey Campbell Lita boots but due to funding and the fact that no where in the UK stocks them I have kind of given up on the idea and then I remembered I has these wedges from Topshop and decided that they are a good alternative. I love that this maxi dress from summer can be updated by throwing a piece of knitwear over it.

I brought this MaxMara poncho years ago (I cant even remember how long ago) I was draw to the chunky knit and tassels I wore it a couple of times last year but taking inspiration from Stefanel I decided to team it with leather shorts (yawn I know but I love them) and slouchy boots. It is still warm enough to wear boots without socks not sure how much longer I can work this look plus I am having to keep up my summer beauty routine as normally by now my legs would be hidden under tights until summer.

Today felt like autumn I even put a pair of tights on the first time for a couple on months. I treated myself to the Stefenal hat thanks for all your feedback guys about the colour. I wanted to wear it on my lunch break but it was way too windy. I can't express how much I love these boots I totally recommend them.

Where is Spring?

I had to dig the fur coat and hat out the weather has gone mad and it is so cold. I wanted a romantic look today this is another sheer top that I found a while ago when I had a clear out of my wardrobe. I got a lot of positive comments about today's outfit and people were asking me about my shorts which is a little weird as I have been practically living in them for the past couple of months.

I mentioned the brand Stefanel in a post the other day well I went into work today after two days off and they have had a delivery and the most amazing shoes which I feel I am going to have to get let me know what you think as the guys at work were not that positive about them they are a size to big so please ignore this.
