Cristiano Ronaldo Supports Crashed a Humanity Project Site
Another social project from CR...
Cristiano Ronaldo called for solidarity from the fans on his official Facebook page, called Casa do Povo de Alvarenga. And within days, the site had so many visitors that led to a technical problems.
More than 10,000 people have visited the site, and it was only because CR announced his support for the project on his Facebook. It made lots of membership and donations entering Casa do Povo.
So why did CR support the site ? Casa do Povo de Alvarenga actually aims to help the poorest households of the land in the municipality of Arouca, which also supported by his friend, a doctor. All the donations will be use to build a home for old people. He just care so much...
Cris loves to do social thing and helps lots of people. But what I remember the most is when he visited Aceh during the Tsunami incident, and invited 1 of the kid survivors to the Manchester and watch him play with MU as a guest of honor.

Some days when I'm wearing an outfit I want to blog, I just don't know how to place myself in photos
and to compensate I end up posing in ridiculous ways, and then those photos end up being the ONLY ones that come out clear.
Today is one of those days.
Wearing another of my Matalan purchases...they now have a sale on and I believe this dress is half the price I paid for it!
What I love most is the neckline and how it's stitched through the detail so I am not left gaping where my bosom should be, but has failed to flourish. I do have *some* sense of modesty...if my legs are out, my chest remains in the dark.
Yeah, so.
I'm off to work shortly, dosed up on coffee and neurofen for a raging toothache I seem to have. Lesson learnt last night; sweet foods will make it hurt MORE, especially when your teeth are already sensitive to sugar!
Have a great day all

Anne Hathaway Oscar Dresses
Hathaway, styled by Rachel Zoe, pulled off look after look with ease, seeming as comfortable in a heavy strapless gown as a tux.
With her wide smile, harlequin eyes and infectious enthusiasm, she sort of reminded us of a student council president or head cheerleader, if that girl had access to the best closet around.
On the red carpet: The actress arrived on the red carpet in a scarlet Valentino archival gown with matching red lips and nails.
The opening segments: The "Love & Other Drugs" star slipped into an embroidered ivory princess gown from Givenchy Haute Couture.
With co-host James Franco in drag: The Jersey girl added custom Brian Atwood pumps to her Lanvin tux.
The Hollywood princess: Hathaway looked like she walked out of a fairy tale in a gray Vivienne Westwood corseted couture gown with embroidered lace and sequins that was custom-made for her.
The Oscars climax: Hathaway shimmied in a disco-style gold fringed gown by Oscar de la Renta and looked electric in an off-the-shoulder cobalt custom satin dress from Armani Privé Couture. And we adored the strapless burgundy beaded gown from Atelier Versace.
Finale with children's choir: Ending on a high note, she wore a Tom Ford gunmetal lace and crystal long-sleeve gown.
And don't even get us started on the hair.
It seems like Anne Hathaway can do no wrong, but she actually isn't good at everything. Watch our partner video below to find out some of Anne's flaws.

Who: Chitrangada Singh in Burberry Resort 2011
Where: At the opening of Burberry store
Where: At the opening of Burberry store
I dont have a full size image of Chitrangada at the Burberry store opening so till then, the runway picture will have to do:(
That out of the way, I just want to drool over Chitrangada. She is tres magnifique! What really blew me away was the color combination of soft orange with brown and then topped with red lips. She is the only one who can carry off this "window drapes inspired couture" dress:-) Dying to see what shoes she wore..
Who: Shazahn Padamsee
Where: Museum store opening
Where: Museum store opening
Another "meh" floral dress but Shazahn kept it interesting by wearing red hot peep-toes with it. Another reason to buy more shoes since they can totally make or break an outfit.

Decor8s Decorate
I'm simply busting out of my skin to see Holly Beckers new book - Decorate - which has hit the shelves overseas and soon to be released here. I'm so proud to say that Holly is one of my blogging friends - and such a great gal at that. She never fails to inspire us with her news and views over at Decor8 - and I'm so happy that she has finally released her book to the world. There's something quite wonderful about writing a book. It is such a large commitment of time and energy - you literally throw yourself into the deep end and cross fingers you make it out the other side (I say as I frantically type away on my keyboard with the aim of meeting my mid year deadline for my new book to be released next year! Yay!). Thanks Holly for giving us your everything in this book... I know it will be a success....
P.s Talking of inspirational gals - I did have the pleasure of meeting another one on my trip to Europe over Christmas. You will all know the divine Carla Coulson through her beautiful photography and blog - carla loves photography... I have been a big fan of Carla's for the longest time (since her book Italian Joy made me want to ditch my day job and head to Florence for a life of love and coffee!). Perusing her site one day, I found that Carla photographs portraiture - and as the family and I were heading to Paris I thought I'd book her in for a day to photograph a series of family portraits as a mark of our journey together... Sooooo excited!!!! Over on Carla's blog today you can see a couple of the images from our portrait session - moody, black and whites with the oh so beautiful Paris as our background!!! Thanks Carla for your beautiful images - you are simply a star - and a gorgeous girl too...

Gaga’s Perfume Will Contain A Sample Of Her Own Blood and the premiere of Born This Way
Expensive HOOKAh smellin..is this really what women need?
Lady Gaga’s perfume will indeed smell — or at least evoke the smell — of semen and blood. The Fame Monster confirmed rumors of her body fluid-inspired scent to Australian radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O, saying, “I wanted to extract the feeling and sense of blood and semen from molecular structures.” Wait, what?
Gaga explained:
“[Blood and semen] is in the perfume but it doesn’t smell like it. You just get sort of the after feeling of sex from the semen and the blood is sort of primal. And the blood was taking from my own blood sample so its like a sense of having me on your skin.”
But overall, she says, it will smell “like an expensive hooker.” No word on where the semen sample came from, though.

John Galliano’s Racist Rant Caught On Video: ‘I Love Hitler’
The British designer - an alleged Jew hater - then tells a horrified woman: "People like you would be dead. Your mothers, your forefathers, would all be f****** gassed."
His tirade was videoed by a friend of the people he was insulting - who were French and Italian, but not Jewish.Galliano, 50, was at the same Paris bar where he allegedly launched a vicious verbal attack on two people last week - which led to him being arrested and suspended by fashion label Christian Dior. After stating he loves Hitler and making the gassing remark, a woman is heard to say, 'Oh my God' before asking slurring Galliano if he had a problem. He said: "With you. You're ugly." Asked where he was from, he said: "Your a***hole."

5 Best Dressed Celebs On The Oscar Red Carpet
Jennifer Lawrence
Halle Berry
Both Halle Berry and Marchesa are already known for hitting red carpet home runs on the regular, but when you put the two together, you get a slam dunk. Berry's frothy champagne number looked delightful and the detailing on the train was exceptional.
Hailee Steinfeld
Hailee Steinfeld's ballerina pink, princess gown she co-designed with Marchesa's Georgina Chapman was exactly the right dress for a 14-year-old Oscar nominee: it was pretty, perfectly age appropriate, and ideally accessorized. This look is, quite literally, what dreams are made of
Mila Kunis
Embracing one of Sunday night's biggest trends, Mila Kunis walked the Oscar red carpet in a lace-y lilac design by Elie Saab. While the color initially felt like a bit of a tough sell, the detailing and impeccable styling made this one a clear winner.
Cate Blanchett
In a sea of pretty, if seriously snoozeworthy gowns, Cate Blanchett's pale purple number by Givenchy Couture was a veritable work of art

Gwyneth Paltrow In Gold Calvin Klein - Oscar Gala 2011
Beautiful! Gwyneth and Calvin can do no wrong.
Gwyneth Paltrow definitely has her haters, but remember Shakespeare in Love? Or Emma? Vintage Gwynnie ruled! As such, we’re glad her Oscars outfit felt like a bit of throwback. The actress went minimal in a shiny champagne Calvin Klein column dress with a geometric neckline. She spiced up the ensemble with a multicolored Louis Vuitton brooch on her hip (which we could do without) and coordinating earrings (which we found extremely rad). We couldn’t get a look at her shoes (long dresses make it hard!), but they are apparently Brian Atwood gold leather pumps.
Dita Von Teese’s Fragrance Will Have ‘A Dash Of Vulgarity
Dita Von Teese has announced via Twitter that she is developing her own fragrance, and her description of the smell is kind of silly!Because first there was this:
"Isolated at a chateau in the French countryside w/my perfumers. “No fruit, no vanilla, no candy!! Velvet sensuality w/a dash of vulgarity!”
Yes, velvet sensuality with a dash of vulgarity. And then there was this:
"I want to evoke passion with fragrance….intense love/lust and distaste/fear rather than merely popular acceptance"

Antiquing On Cannery Row...
I was thrilled to come across this antiques barn on Cannery Row in Monterey - a gorgeous little town about 2 hours south of San Francisco. Cannery Row was an old sardine canning village in its past life - and the scene upon which John Steinbecks novel Cannery Row was set. The buildings are so quirky and interesting - just my type of architecture. In particular, this antiques barn was a collectors delight - filled to the brim with bric a brac and knick knacks (with a whole wall dedicated to Barbie!)... I came across these pics in the files the other day and just had to share them... I hope they inspire some antiquing joy in you, as they did me...
