Who: Bipasha Basu

I like Bipasha's new long hair - it gives her a softer look. The color of the dress is so fresh and I like her choice of shoes. The fit of the dress esp. near the upper body is a little off as it gives her a slouchy look. Either that or she skipped wearing a bra:P

Who: Tisca Chopra

Tisca is perfectly polished in an asymmetrical floral dress paired with an orange Balenciaga clutch. The orange bag helps pull the orange in the dress and provides a nice visual contrast . Her hairstyle adds to the sleek sophisticated look. I like!

Who: Sarah Jane Diaz

Suddenly, she is everywhere, no? The grey masculine pants are so cool but not sure if its the length or her shoes that totally spoil the look.

Who: Raageshwari

Raageshwari in a Satya Paul dress from last year's collection. Is it too early to make my X'mas wish list? I am completely drooling over this dress.

Who: Sabine Chopra

Sabine continues her adventure in Sabyasachi-land. I am a big fan of exposed zippers craze but not the fly zipper!! That is just eeeww..And did Sabyasachi gift her his entire collection??

Who: Suzanne Roshan, Minissha Lamba

That is one dull, boring dress on Suzanne. Minissha is slightly better becoz of the belt detail and her bright red shoes.

Spotted around town

Havent seen Bipasha in ages!! She looks youthful and fresh in a strapless, flowy floral dress. She smartly balanced the multi-hued combo with a black belt, clutch and tan shoes. She kept her makeup light and best of all, she has changed her hairstyle!

Who: Kangana Ranaut
Where: "Game" movie launch

Love the colors and print of this dress. It does look like an old wallpaper but I like. And the best part is her shoes. Brilliant!! I think she put them on by fluke- she cant be that fashion savvy. The only bad part is the fit of the dress - its so shapeless:( No wonder she is grumpy.

Who: Shraddha Kapoor, Sarah Jane Dias

Both, Shraddha and Sarah, wore my current favorite shade of pink - a dull, dusty pink. Of the two, I like Sarah's outfit better. Shraddha's outfit looks like lingerie. The baby doll style combined with gauzy fabric reminds of Victoria's Secret stuff.

The purple lining on Lisa's jacket is so quirky, no? It adds some jazz to a boring blazer-skirt combo. She wore an asymmetrical top underneath which again is very unexpected. Yay to Lisa's interpretation of the traditional suit.

Ira - She is too thin. Clothes just hang on her. Eat! Carbs love you. Love them back!

Surily - Isn't her clutch adorable? Goes so well with grey dress.

Weekend Round - The beautiful and the bewildering

Who: Sonam Kapoor

Pirates of the Caribbean or woman whose shoes we could live in?
Wow, she has big feet, and the shoes make the problem worse!
The whole look has a deja-vu feeling since Sonam tends to wear a lot of these high-waisted pants and did I mention I could live in her shoes with my 6 kids, 3 dogs and 1 cat and still have room to spare!!

Love both the dresses - have a very boho-chic vibe.
A big kick in the ass to Sameera for wearing such ugly shoes - what did her feet do to deserve this!!
Urmila would have fared better with a longer hemline.

Who: Kareena Kapoor, Chitrangada Singh
Where: Book launch, "Yeh Jo hai Zindagi" promos

Both, Kareena and Chitrangada, did the blazer and jeans combo. Kareena went for a semi-formal look pairing her jeans and graffiti t-shirt with a tuxedo blazer. She also went for a black/brown combination which always gets my attention.
Chitrangada went for a causal look with corduroy jacket and some killer heels and hair. Both look good.

Wow, that saree is so striking and Lara does it full justice. She looks stunning!

If Bipasha has paid more than $29.99 for that dress she is wearing, she got ripped off. That dress is done in by its hemline - its really ugly. And the yuck shoes. Double Fail!!

I like the color combination and the belt ties the whole look together. I am a little iffy on the width of the pant - maybe a tighter fit at the thighs and then gently flaring?!?

Celina - The dress is OTT but its a fashion show so I will let it pass.

Shazahn - I would rather die than wear this in public!!
Is she dressed "in character"? I cant seem to think of any other explanation for this atrocious dress she inflicted on us!

The good, the bad and the ugly

Karima was all sleek and shiny in a black-on-black ensemble. She went for a super slick and tight hairstyle that showed off her great bone structure and flawless skin. The top with an asymmetrical neckline is really cute but the pants look a little long.

Best Dressed 2010 - Blue is the new black

After black, blue was a big favorite in bollywood.

Chintrangada's outfit is nothing to write home about but what really caught my eye was her pendant and perfectly coiffed big hair..The pendant is not very tasteful and I am going to leave it that...Her hair and makeup is perfect for a big shindig..

Bipasha finally experimented with her hair and its....... bad!! Why did she style her hair into a turban (Tipu Sultan, anyone)? And she can afford to wear real black pearls - why did she pile on these tacky plastic beads? and why did she wear such manly shoes?

Its very important to ask 'why' becoz without scientific curiosity we would not have scientific discovery. And today's scientific discovery is --- money doesnt buy you style!!

That a very interesting take on LDB with the belt and neck in the same print. I have a feeling its DIY - Sophie has taken a strapless LDB and tied a long scarf around her waist and then around her neck with the knot behind her neck..All you, DIY Queens, let me know if this works and how it looks..

Events: Vera Moda fashion show

Sushmita, Shilpa, Bipasha and Dia walked the ramp for Vera Mode. All wore LBDs except for Shilpa who wore black satin skinnies. Shilpa also rocked a black military jacket. All look fabulous and the outfits are pretty wearable including Bipasha's which can be worn for clubbing..

Which outfit is your style? I can totally see myself wearing Shilpa's ensemble. Also, Dia's since she balances her sequins with a plain skirt...

Fashion Show: Vera Moda, ONLY and Jack & Jones

European fashion brands, Vero Moda, Jack & Jones and ONLY, held a fashion show in New Delhi. Celebs strutted down the runway showcasing the LBDs from the different fashion houses. Bipasha, Kangana, Priyanka and Dia wore Vera Mode. Ameesha and Neha were in ONLY.

That is one pretty dress worn with the wrong accessories!! Esha should have gone for a black or white peep-toes and a bright jewel-toned purse. The outfit needs some color..And whats up with the fried hair and dull makeup??

Teaming red with black is dramatic but boring and can look very harsh if not done right. The dress is just not working for me as its too severe and I'm getting tired of seeing Bipasha in short, tight dresses. I know she rocks them but wish she would experiment a little..

Its outfits like this which make all the late-night blogging so worthwhile..I love the unexpectedness of the florals in the gold skirt, the cut-out white top and the exposed zipper. And hallelujah, the guest got her accessories right which is such a big rarity in bollywood!!
This look is also a perfect example of when matching the shoe/bag is the the only way to make it work..

Sridevi goes for classy in a monochromatic look in fall's hot beige/nude color. The shade looks gorgeous on her and I like how she plays with shape and proportion. The delicate chain belt is a spot on final touch. My only complain is that she should have worn a bright red lip color..

Dont you just hate Malaika? She manages to make an unforgiving, clingy dress look amazing!! Malaika dazzled in her snake print gown teamed with big, ornate earrings and red BV clutch..
