Love the color but the silver embellishments give it an El Cheapo look. Perfect for a raunchy onscreen item number:-)

A beautiful, summery dress completely spoiled by Kangana's choice of shoes.

Love the clutch and shoes but the dress is like a shapeless sack. Even the addition of belt doesnt help.

Stunning color, cute smile and perfect shoes. Black shoes would have looked very harsh.

The blazer+jeans combo is nothing new but the stripes t-shirt reminds me of prison uniform. Doesnt work for me.
Great dress, atrocious makeup! Celina looks ghastly! New witch in town??

Red Carpet Event:Stardust awards 2011

Who: Anushka Sharma, Sonakshi Sinha

Anushka is elegant and lethal in a beautifully draped dress. I havent seen Anushka in a gown and she looks incredibly alluring in this color. Thankfully, she didnt add any necklace and kept it simple with silver earrings.
Sonakshi does love this style since she already owns this dress in mustard yellow. The pulled back hair, silver pumps - all give it a very sophisticated, chic look. Two thumbs up to the lovely color.

Who: Amrita Puri, Mehr and Arjun Rampal, Twinkle Khanna

Amrita wore a dusty pink, bodycon dress. I think the dress is rather cute with the over-sized flower but not happy with her shoe choice.
Its impossible to get a clear picture of what Mehr is wearing since she is clinging to her husband in very shot. Seeing how delicious Arjun looks, I can hardly blame her!
Twinkle wore an asymmetrical silver dress, teamed with silver shoes and earrings. I wish she had gone one size up becoz right now she looks tightly wrapped in a silver foil!

Who: Suzanne Roshan, Prachi Desai, Shraddha Kapoor

Like the streamlined look of Suzanne's dress and its a pity we cant clearly see the McQueen skull clutch.
Prachi - OMG, who did this to you??It should be a crime for anyone to step out in such a horrific outfit.
Shraddha - The skirt is very interesting and would have worked with a simple tank top. The clutch is too shiny for me.

Who: Neha Dhupia, Sophie Choudry

Neha wore a yellow/black Shane and Falguni outfit. Its a very striking dress and I think she does justice to this dress with her sleek, shiny hair and smokey eyes.
I love everything about Sophie's dress but wish someone more interesting had worn it.

Who: Rani Mukerjee, Sonali Bendre, Kajol

Black/gold is a very safe and boring combination on the red carpet. But the addition of the red blouse/top, upgrades this look. Smart choice, Rani.
I like how Sonali added a skinny belt to her red saree resulting in a silhouette different from a normal saree. I just wished she had worn a less glitzy top.
Kajol is one of my favorite actress but her dress choices really confound me!

Red Carpet Event: Filmfare awards 2011(Part 1)

Who: Sonakshi Sinha

Looks like someone read our blogpost and took our advice! Sonakshi, finally in something that is youthful and bright. The color and the draping is just gorgeous and I love her cascading curls. The fresh look just hit the right note for the occasion. Congrats on winning the best debut of the year for 'Dabaang'.

Who: Genelia D'Souza, Neha Dhupia

Genezlia - Other than the color, there is nothing I like here.

On the fence for Neha's dress. The color and style is pretty neat but somehow the outfit falls flat and really doesn't excite me.

Who: Rani Mukerjee, Sridevi

Rani - This is the only pic available and can I just say WOW!! Love the way the fabric falls. The blue really compliments her skin color and the look is just tres magnifique!

Sridevi- Great color, great outfit but the creases are so bad that it distracts and completely takes away the beauty of the dress.

Who: Prachi Desai, Malaika Arora Khan

Not a big fan of Prachi but have to say she looks cute with the side plait. As for the dress, the bottom part could be used as a toilet brush, no?

Malaika - This woman is flawless. She only has one look - the cougar look and dayum, she has perfected it!!

Who: Amrita Puri, Suzanne Roshan

Finally, someone in scarlet red!! Both are great dresses - Amrita's dress is beautifully tailored (love the pleats on the bodice) and Suzanne has sexy draping. Suzzane went a little overboard with matching accessories and red hair so this one goes to Amrita.

Who: Mugdha Godse, Sameera Reddy

Even though her clutch color is a little jarring, I like Mugdha with her shiny, slick hair. She looks chic and sassy.

Sameera - This is how a dress designed by a 'split-personality soap-opera character' would look like - loud, loud and so OTT!!

HDIL couture week - Maheep Kapoor

Jewelery designer Maheep Sanjay Kapoor launched her eponymous jewelery range at HDIL couture week 2010. It was a bridal collection with a lot of rough diamonds and gemstones. Maheep wanted to do things differently, so she had her closest friends walk the ramp in her designs. I think that's a really brilliant!!

Her BFF, Gauri Khan, however decided to sit this one out. From what I understand Gauri has become very particular about which brands she associates with - yeah, right endorsing a home furnishing brand (D'Decor) makes sooo much sense!!

I have tried to get as many close-ups as possible...




Sonakshi Sinha and Ayesha Takia were the showstoppers for the show. Ayesha dazzled in a blue gown and to be honest looks so gorgeously stunning that I didnt even look at her jewelery!!

Sonam, Amrita and Ira kept it causal at the screening. Sonam's bustier is cute and the leopard print flats are a good touch. I think Amrita's outfit would have looked better with a lighter colored jeans and Ira's top is really pretty..

How many of these Dior bags does Sonam own? We have already seen her with black, beige and now cherry-red!! And how deliriously gorgeous is her gown color!!

So what do you think? Is she forgiven for yesterday's appearance? Sonam decided to do classy and chic today. The stunning blue dress is from CUE - a label by Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna, which she wore with clutch and pumps. The simple but elegant black dress is from Whistles, accessorized with CD bag and black pumps...love the blue dress and CD bag:-)

I think I am in love with the divinely draped Varun Bahl nude asymmetrical dress. Ira wisely didn't over-accessorize and completed her look with Grey printed peep-toes. Her Fever FM is nothing to write about..
