Daily catch

Who: Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan
Where: Dr Batra health awards

Aishwarya in an Indian outfit that is not (i) anarkali (ii) schizophrenic, tacky or OTT (iii) has no velvet!! How did this happen? What are the chances it will happen again - hmm, not likely:-)
Aishwarya is pretty in an simple, tangerine outfit. The color really looks good on her..

Who: Nandita Das, Rashmi Uday Singh
Where: Jatin Das art show

Nandita looks graceful and elegant at her dad's art show. A very talented actress whom we don't get a see a whole lot:(
I like Rashmi quirky and bright sari. She has some of the most interesting handbags - all of them tend to have a strong handicraft flavor to them.

On a separate note, I wanted to thank Poohkie and ClassyandFabulous for giving me the Stylish Blogger award.. love!!
I promise I will do the award post one of these days:)

Not a great week for Mourinho. Having himself humiliate in front of the world for a 5-0 defeated against eternal rival, Barcelona, and now he has to face his sanction from UEFA.

Oh My Goodness Me...

Well, I just realized that I haven't shown you any pics from our Just Colour workshop held up here at The Little Cottage in Bangalow... What a day! What a day! And what a mess! We really did get right into the beautiful world of colour - getting down and dirty with it and trying to make sense of this vast and crazy subject... Understanding colour is a journey - and it requires viewing and seeing it from different angles and in different ways... We spent the day cutting and pasting, playing, mixing and contemplating - all of which brought us a step closer or two to get our heads around how it all worked... Thank you to all of my beautiful participants - you are a brave lot tackling the world of colour and it was a pleasure to spend the day with you... We're running some more colour workshops next year at The Little Cottage - you can check the website for dates etc... Hope to see you all in 2011..

Trousers H&M, Cardigan Topshop, Top Topshop, Fur Collar H&M, Wedges Blue Inc, Gloves H&M (old)

I love this cold weather and I love dressing for it you can layer and add some really interesting accessories I have dug out my fur collar from last year and my long leather gloves. I have also put a pair of black tights under these trousers so my outfit might not look that warm but it is due to clever layering. I was going to take these trousers back as I asked my mum if she liked them and she blankly replied "no" and as I had brought them with some of the birthday money she had given me it kind of put me off them anyway I put them on and thought no I like them they are very me so I am keeping them.

Layer upon Layer

Yet more freezing weather and snow. I know...everyone is talking about it, but what's what we Brits do!

Outfits are getting more and more dull by the day. Just trying to find something that layers, without looking like the Micehlin man is trial enough.

The top outfit is what I decided on today, although I'll probably chuck jeans over the tights if I venture out.

The bottom two are yesterday and the faux fur vest was hastily swapped for a couple of cardigans.

Is anyone actually enjoying this weather? The only upside I can see is it provides the perfect excuse to huddle under a duvet with a hot drink and purring cat.
(And it does make it seem a bit more like Christmas is on its way!)
